A pretty compelling theory about the GTA 6 trailer 2 release date has been uncovered by fans and, to be honest, it’s gotten a lot of attention lately. Some eagle-eyed enthusiasts spotted a sequence of numbers on a t-shirt in a 2023 GTA Online promotional post. As it turns out, the sequence accurately predicted the first trailer’s December 5th release. Interestingly enough, another set of numbers visible in the same image reads “040125“. This is believed by many to point to April 1st, 2025, as the potential release date for the second trailer.

A pretty significant revelation about GTA 6’s protagonist Lucia was recently shared by a former Rockstar developer. According to this insider, the character seen wearing an orange prison jumpsuit in the first trailer is the same as the woman in a bikini on a balcony. Lucia is potentially working undercover with dyed hair.

This dual identity suggests a complex narrative for GTA 6, with Lucia possibly infiltrating criminal organizations after her prison release. The information has, as of now, generated tremendous interest in the character’s development and storyline potential.

Gameplay Leaks Hint at Exciting New Features
Gameplay leaks from 2025 continue to be analyzed by the GTA community, and, well, they’re revealing potential new activities in the game. Fishing appears to be confirmed as an open-world activity. Fans are expressing a lot of excitement about this addition. “If the fishing and hunting is at minimum on par with RDR2, I’m gonna be over the moon,” commented one Reddit user just last week.
Other leaked activities include scuba diving, golf, and also racing. This suggests Rockstar Games is expanding the variety of side activities available in the virtual world of Vice City. The leaks also hint at more interactive wildlife, with alligators expected to play a significant role in the game’s ecosystem.
Rockstar Hiring Game Testers as Release Approaches
In what many consider a sign of advancing development, Rockstar Games has, just recently, begun recruiting game testers. A recruitment drive scheduled for April 5th in Bangalore was spotted in a job posting that quickly circulated throughout the GTA community. The timing of this hiring push is viewed as strategic. It potentially indicates that the game is entering its final testing phase.
Take-Two Interactive confirmed during their February earnings call that GTA 6 remains on track for an Autumn 2025 release. The testing phase represents one of the final stages before marketing ramps up. This typically includes, you know, the release of additional trailers and gameplay footage.

Instagram “Cleanup” Signals Possible Announcement
Rockstar Games has once again “cleaned up” their Instagram account. At this point, they’ve reduced their post count to just 12. This social media strategy has been employed before previous game reveals. It leads fans to speculate that news about GTA 6 trailer 2 is, in all likelihood, imminent.

With recent updates for GTA 5 and GTA Online both released in the past few days, many believe Rockstar has cleared the way to focus marketing efforts on GTA 6. The timing aligns with previous patterns where the studio removes older content before introducing new promotional materials.
